    fat chewsdays are a quintessential part of doing it the right way for your las vegas experience!! i personally do not like getting them as often, since i can't finish too much/ can get alc elsewhere for a better price

    Seeing that the alcoholic drinks are utterly overpriced at PH Live (ranging between $20 and $50), we went to Fat Tuesday for a quick drink before entering the Halestorm/I Prevail concert, which was our second concert in 24 hours. This Fat Tuesday is directly next to the PH Live entrance and literally cannot be missed. Last time I was at Fat Tuesday (which was also my first time), it was over at the MGM Grand and I had to buy the smallest cup that they had, because I had an important competition that I had to attend the next day and didn't want to wake up with a hangover. This time, I could get a larger cup, since I had nothing going on the next day. :D The drink prices were so much better than the ones at PH Live, but the larger the cup here, the more expensive it's going to be. I ordered a 190 octane blue raspberry slush drink in a large cup ($15) and my boyfriend ordered a rum and coke mixed drink in a regular cup ($12), both with a single shot. You can also bring your cup to any other Fat Tuesday on The Strip for a $15 refill. Obviously we weren't allowed to bring our drinks in to the theater, so we just hung around the bar area in the center of the casino while we drank them, as there's no designated seating over at Fat Tuesday. It was like I was drinking a slurpee from 7-Eleven, but with alcohol in it. My boyfriend said that he enjoyed his drink and made our concert experience more enjoyable. The lines may be long at times, but don't let them scare you away. They move really quickly for the most part and the service is friendly.

    There are multiple Fat Tuesday locations on The Strip. Tourist commonly see the large $25 carafes with a margarita like slushy drink. They have about 8 different flavors to choose from, my favorite being the peach Bellini. Your initial cup is a $25 cost and the refill is $15. I never finish the cup so a refill is not needed, but if you're able to finish, you can refill at any location for the $15. They do not offer samples, so make sure to know what you want and what your preference is. This is a purchase and go establishment. There is no seating for room to stand about.

    It's not a trip to Las Vegas without at least one Fat Tuesday! Came to the strip to pregame the day before EDC and let's just say the Fat Tuesdays did their job. Got a nice little buzz going on to walk the strip with our tasty drinks in hand. Fat Tuesday can get busy so you might have to wait a bit for your drink that's the only downside. If you wash your cup, you can bring it for future trips to Vegas for cheaper refills. You can also add extra shots to your Fat Tuesdays if you want to get extra litty. Have fun and be safe!!!
